How does a Tora consultation work?
Your care is led by a qualified Australian doctor. A live consultation is required before anything is prescribed. Your doctor talks you through what is involved, and what to expect, before anything begins.
Will a real doctor see me, or is it an online form?
A live consultation with a qualified doctor is part of every program. Your doctor reviews your history and your test results with you, then builds your plan.
I've been told my results are normal. Why would Tora be any different?
A result inside the standard range does not always explain how you feel. We look at a broader set of markers, and a doctor walks you through what your results mean. If your results are genuinely fine, we will tell you that too.
Will I get pushed into a subscription I can't get out of?
No. You see the full cost before you start, there are no lock-in contracts, and you can pause or cancel your program through the patient portal, subject to your program terms. We will not call you to talk you out of it.
What if I'm already on other medication?
Your doctor reviews your current medications as part of your consultation. Your doctor checks for interactions and contraindications, and may coordinate with your GP or other treating doctors if a prescription is clinically appropriate.
What happens after my consultation?
Your doctor sets expectations during your consultation based on your results. Where a plan is appropriate, follow-up testing tracks how things are going over time. Timeframes vary based on individual assessment.
How does the Tora approach work?
Testing comes first, then a doctor talks you through your results in a live consultation, and we keep checking with follow-up testing. Your plan is based on your numbers, and a plan is recommended only where clinically indicated.
